The project aims to facilitate the resumption of sport and physical activity among young Europeans aged 14-16, through the sport of Triathlon. It also intends to promote social inclusion, gender equality, environmental sustainability and European identity through sport.

Roadmap

The project has a duration of 18 months, starting from January 2024 to June 2025.

The main milestones are:

Completion of the training activity by November 2024

Partnership

The project involves 10 Triathlon Federations from Italy (Lead Partner), Spain, Germany, France, Poland, Romania, Croatia, Malta, Portugal and Serbia, and Luxembourg. The project also receives special support of the Continental Confederation "Europe Thriathlon". The composition of such a geographically diverse consortium (Mediterranean and Central-Eastern Europe) allows the Federations involved to compare very different levels of experience and thus to foster synergy and exchanges of good pratices at European level, as well to consolidate the creation of a network.

Project Activities

The project consists of three main activities:

Preparatory training and awareness-raising activity for coaches and staff of Triathlon clubs.
